Yes. I believe that is true. It shoots great for me, but the first two or three patches when cleaning looks like there is considerable unburned powder coming out. I'm up to 50+ patches and still getting carbon out. Next up is to try a bronze brush. Believe most of the carbon (based on feel of pushing the patches thru) is towards the muzzle end of things. I may pick up some N140. The CFE223 is a real pita............I think the issue with CFE223 is that much of the charge is unburned when used for .223 Remington. I like the results it produces, but it leaves a lot of debris in some applications.
