Cerakote help

Trying to figure out what color to do my action and such, so figured some of you all have already did a similar project and can help me pick. I haven’t really fallen in love with any one color yet but have a few that would look ok but could really use some help from you all in helping me pick a Cerakote color. My build is going to be a Kelbly Nanook, Manners EH1 - scorched earth, and a proof carbon fiber. Anything that’s going to get Cerakoted will be the same color and I’d like something that would go well with the colors of the stock. Anyone happen to try to match colors within the scorched earth from Manners? Or anyone have the same stock and did something that turned out nice that wasn’t a match to any of the colors with if the stock? Or heck if you haven’t built anything on this particular stock/color combination but have a go to color you like, share that too.

Pics would be appreciated but Cerakote color names would do.

I dont like sand blasting and painting precision parts. Id skip it, it will look great.
Thats a good point that I hadnt thought about. All the colors and flashy looks seem to be so popular right now but at what cost, and Im not talking financial, if any?

Not to mention I have seen the carbon shrink back on carbon barrels that were baked to cure the cerakote. It does not happen often but it does happen.

Alex makes a very important point on carbon barrels. Anyone who heat cures the Cerakote on one better know the consequences they’re up against if things go wrong. If the barrel manufacturers tells you what temperature theirs will take, take that with a grain of salt! I’ve seen a barrel where the epoxy got hot enough (below 200*) for the carbon to actually start lifting up in slithers. Enough to cut into your fingers when ran down the barrel. Luckily the manufacturer made it good, but that didn’t account for my time in chambering it. It was air cure only from then on, on carbon barrels.
