Hey guys I have a range basically half way between Abilene and San Angelo Texas called Coyote Creek Gun Range. We have monthly steel target matches, sometimes we have an IBS 200 yard paper target match. All of the normal matches are on the second weekend of the month starting Feb and ending in October. We shoot 400, 618 and 800 yards mostly, sometimes 618, 800 and 1000. 5 target strings starting at 2 MOA and finishing at 1/2 MOA. We have sighter targets at each distance. There is a Cold Bore Jackpot as well. Entry is $40 for the main match and $5 for the jackpot. Jackpot is 100% payout.
Last weekend we had 20 shooters, 1st place was $225. That's better than them F-class matches. The more shooters the more the payout.
Right now we are trying to make things better by adding cement benches and more cover. It's not a big match but we have alot of fun.
