Despite all the summer activities most are involved in we had 8 shooters show up at our beautiful indoor facility, Double Tap Indoor Range in Altoona, Pa. Competition was tight with 2 perfect 40x40s recorded and 3 at 39x39. Shot at 20 meters with Springers off the bench. Traveling over 200 miles Al Duster was victorious in a shoot off over Sam Salyards. George Price with about a 100 mile round trip won
the 3 way tie for third. There is no room for error. Good shooting from all who attended.We hold this match the 4th Saturday of every month.Al was shooting his old but new to him Diana 75 which he just acquired. Back before the days of PCP rifles this was one of the rifles used in the Olympics. Remember....No reloading......no cleaning.....less than a nickle a shot. Its not easy like everything else out there. It is a skill that must be learned and springers will teach you bench manners like nothing else.
