Centering a Badger EFR Mount

Got a customer that wants a Badger EFR mount on a build to mount NV/Thermal in front of his scope. I've never done one and I can't find much info on what fixturing would be best to hold it solid in line with the main scope rail while the bedding dries to make sure it's straight. You guys have always come through with the best advise so I figured I better come to the pros first.

I have a one of those coming up too, and have thought a bit about how I'm going to do it. I figured I'd set up the stock in the mill after properly bedding the barreled action (with barrel centered in channel). Dial in center off the barrel then mill out stock so the EFR fits. I'd do a snug fit on the sides so the device will stay perfectly level (L-R). Elevation would be either good measuring or drift a few aluminum spacers (or epoxy them) onto the barrel and turn them to the ID of the EFR and epoxy the EFR in with it clamped on the bbl'd action installed.

If you mill out the pocket slightly oversized and clamp the device on the barrel perfectly level with the bbl'd action, you could probably bed it by just installing the bbl'd action in the stock. I'd be sure to have a few openings in the front and back of the barrel channel to allow epoxy go squeeze out there and not keep it proud from hydraulic pressure.

You could even just wrap a tape bushing around the barrel to ensure it's centered.
