Cellular Trail Cameras

I am looking to buy a couple of cellular cameras and am already confused when I got my Bass Pro advertisement. I have ATT cell service and only get one or two bars signal at camp. My I phone runs down quickly searching for signals when I get in certain locations in low lying areas.

I would like to find one that is simple to operate and trouble free and easy on the batteries as it is over 200 miles to hunting camp and only go a few times a year. What are the general cost for camera cellular agreements with ATT?

Please feel free to share any experiences and or recommendations.

I’m running a couple Tactacams, I put them out in the middle of September and they still are above 50% battery. They can be used on either AT&T or Verizon, it doesn’t matter what cell carrier you have just use the SIM card for whichever has the best service there.

I’m a big fan of our ReoLink Go PT security cameras being used as trail cams. I think they were about $300 & an additional $10/ month on T-Mobile, but they are so much more than a trail cam…. Real time video, audio & talk back, time lapse function, motion sensor, push notifications, siren function. You can move the camera around remotely. You can download videos to your phone & capture photos from videos in real time or recorded clips. The solar panel keeps the internal battery charged.

I have spy point cams. They take shitty pics compared to my old coverts, but they manage to get a picture out even with bad service. They sell them at academy with a solar panel add on. D2CDED95-677E-4B80-9128-1F6773F9A599.png

Go Tactacam, and I believe they have a model that will come with ATT and Verizon sim cards.

If you need US CELLULAR then your only choice is Spartan but as far as quality pics for an extremely
Affordable camera then go to Tactacam.

I have 3 Moultries, 2 Bushnell's, 3 Spartans, 6 Coverts, 7 Tactacams. And Tactacam is the best out of those.

A buddy of mine really likes these. Comes with the cables needed to operate. https://www.amazon.com/WingHome-Bat...2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1

Personally on my 12 volt cameras such as Tactacam, I just buy a 12 volt car battery or even lawn mower battery and switch it out about ever 4 or 6 months depending on how many pics u use.

This power cable from spartan will work on Tactacams and allow u to hook up to 12 volt batteries. https://go.spartancamera.com/products/spartan-gocam-power-cable

This extended antenna can be mounted to a pole and raised in the air to help get better reception if need be.
Sometimes I find cellular trail cams pick up best signal lower to the ground.

Here's another extended boost antenna that can be put up high https://shop.opticsplanet.com/cover...6yVWmmzF7WAGRqfbcMsoDyqfFdfy8o2MaAnGFEALw_wcB
