CED chrono trouble

Good day
The CED M2 shows the first shot and then stady "error 0".I checked everything, both the start and stop infrared screen lights are "ON",checked both battery voltages ( display unit,infrared power pack).The instruction manual only specifey
that "error 0" means the sensor dont read the projectile passing thru the start screen and nothing more.Someone of you can help me how run out of the problem.

Difficult to be sure but, any chronograph with a sunscreen will be sensitive to ambient light interfering with the detection circuit. Sensor not reading the projectile may mean that the "shadow" of the projectile is not adequate. This kind of problem can be intermittent.
Shooting early or late in the day is often with worst time.
Also, make sure your sensor parts are firmly attached and fully seated to the base and that the base mounting arm is "perfectly" level. The slightest slope can drive you nuts..
