Sorry to hear that. Had a Leopold scope sent in to get repaired. I talked to him about his conversion. He told me to send it in when it got back and he would fix it. Wish I had of sent it. I have a 36 power he did and it is a great scope. No drift and holds where set. RIP Cecil.sorry I didn't s e nd it. Tom.I just read on BRC that Cecil passed away last night. I had a dozen scopes that were Tuckerized by him. We will be truly diminished by his absence. R.I.P. Cecil.
Sending you a PMGentlemen,
I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. I have sent a 36x Leupold to Mr. Tucker to be "Tuckerized" and actually spoke to him the Friday before he died and he said then he was sick with Covid but had tore the scope down to start the process. Is there anyone I can contact that would be able to help me (family, business partner, etc) to inquire about it?
Thanks
I had the pleasure of meeting Cecil in 1990 when our company in Houston relocated the fabrication branch to Odessa. My gunsmith here in east Texas, Andy Adams, gave me Cecil’s phone number. I spent a lot of time at his shop watching rifles being built, working on scopes and he and Becky makiNg bullets. Those were times not any people get to experience. He was as fine a gentleman as you would ever meet.
R.I.P. Cecil
