ccop scope rings

The Chinese use them because at those prices I doubt they are made here.

Just in case I am not the only one not familiar with ccop products.

Not sure about CCOP rings, but if you want a really good set of rings at a budget price, check out the link below. They are a Chinese copy of the aluminium Leupold Mark 4 rings. Nearly identical in every way. Torx head screws and everything. They also come with fabric inserts to avoid ring marks on your scope body while providing a firm non-slip grip. You can take the fabric strips out and lap the rings too if you want, but don't really have to in my experience. I usually remove the fabric anyhow, lap the rings and bed them with JB-Weld to get extra elevation adjustment. Every ring I have ever lapped from $15 set to $150+ set has shown imperfections in roundness when mounted to most any action. So I don't see the point in spending all the extra money on high dollar rings. Just get good quality low priced rings like the set in the link below, then hand lap them to perfection and torque them down properly. These rings stand up to pretty much any recoil you can throw at them. I have 3 or 4 sets now and I've never had trouble with any of them. I always liked the Mark 4 rings appearance, so now I can get a good looking sturdy ring at a fraction of the cost :)
