CCI Primers?

Been shooting the Fed 210 M's in my 300 WSM's and every thing else that uses large non magnum primers. I have been using the Fed 215M's in everything Magnum (7mm Rem mag, 300 win mag, 300 WBY Mag, 338 Edge, 338 Lapua)

I was going to try the CCI's but don't know which one...the BR-2 or the 200 to replace the 210's. This will be for my WSM comp tubes shooting H4350 and Berger 215's and 230's.

I don't have a choice in the magnum catagory....CCI 250's

600 and 1000 BR is the end goal. I have had great luck with the Federals, but then again, I have never tried the CCI's.

Also, I have been shooting the 450's in my Dasher's, 6-47L, 6.5-47L and my 22 br. Figured I would stick with the 450's for the x47's and the Dasher, but might try the "non magnum" small primer in my 22 br, but don't know weather to get the BR-4's or the 400's.

You CCI guys speak up!!

Thanks,
Tod

Maybe someone here can report that they can see a difference between the BR-2 and the 200s on the target. I tried both a while back and I could not.

CCI BR4 & 2 have been my, "go to" primers since before I began shooting competitive BR tournaments in 1977 - never experienced a disappointment. Occasionally, I have substituted the various other CCI numbers, and have never been able to observe a significant difference.:D For larger capacity cases - 60+ Gr. of powder - I usually use the 250 Mag. Perhaps I've been lucky. I pay the extra, probably just for peace of mind. ;) RG

Yesterday I shot a ladder using fed 215 which has been my go to primer for everything. Es was high and tried same loads over a cci250 and the velocity really leveled out and over a .8 grain spread I had 16 FPS es

All of my competition loads have been primed with large primer CCI-BR2, and small rifle with Remington 7 1/2's. I have never had an issue, knock on wood.
