CCI Primers and Hodgdon powder available? Don't believe it.

They seemed to have everything I wanted, at a good price...UNTIL....I tried to buy and they only take Venmo, Apple pay, Zelle, Bitcoin, etc.

I called the contact phone number and it was disconnected or not active.

I smell a scam! Anyone with any positive experience with them?
 
Folks never learn, haste and greed equals easily fleeced. Forget even the various e pay only options.

  1. If the company is located in Idaho, why the CA contact address?
  2. Website states company started in both 1997 and 2007.
  3. Look at the contact number: 1 234 1234 556
  4. Click the tracking link…..fake site
 

Beware Companies with Weird Payment Procedures

Looking for bullets on line, and a couple with "rare" bullets in stock and at old prices only offer payment via bitcoin, zelle, or some other on-line service. Seems a bit unusual to me, or am I just out of touch? Forum Boss: Do NOT ORDER from ANY BUSINESS that ONLY Takes those kinds of Payment...

That is definitely a scam !do you need to be whacked over the head? do not give them any money
 
Pretty much what I'm finding is,... if you found primers, it's a scam!
I never thought I would like seeing the end of shooting season coming but I'm almost out of primers and powder so it's all but done for me. I refuse to pay these crazy high prices and will not support Gun Broker letting people get rich off others needs. I'm all set for handgun season this winter so if nothing changes by spring 2022 I'm done.
 
FWIW I got an email from Hodgdon today, a FAQ update on powder availability, which included this:

QUESTION OF THE MONTH

WHY IS HODGDON SELLING POWDER ON AUCTION SITES?
We don't. Period. We recently began selling a limited amount of powder on our own websites but prioritize our shipments to our traditional sales channels to maximize powder availability at sporting goods and gun shops.

Apparently there are scammers out there masquerading as Hodgdon.
