Casehead expansion

Gday all,
I did type a post with more info on my load details but tablet crashed so I shall keep it simple what are your thoughts on exceptible casehead expansion on first fireing of virgin lapua 308 cases I measured mine the best I could with calipers have no micrometer and had an expansion of,
1.5 thou to 2 thou is this to much no more expansion on second firing.

Do you really mean case head, or case body .200 above the case head? If at .200 above the head, it would depend on your chamber.

If you are serious about tracking case head expansion get a micrometer.

Yes I did mean casehead just above extactor groove and yes I should use micrometer have one coming soon.
But alls good got my answers from a more experienced club member thank you for your replies.
