CASE PREPERATION

Have seen in the past an advertiser on the Forum that's in Alabama that does custom case prep and neck turning. Does anyone have an address or phone number??

You may be thinking of Darrell Jones who runs DJ's Brass.

Darrell does it all -- ultrasonic cleaning, annealing, case trimming, neck-turning, brass uniforming -- pretty much anything you want.

Why not do it yourself??? Case prep varies with the gun for me. For my AR`s it is just champfer the the case mouth and size. For my wildcats it is form brass, trim to lenth, turn neck, check primer pockets and touch holes and weigh. If you shooting a factory chamber there is little to gain by going over board.

I actually enjoy reloading,and the different steps of case prep that you go through. I know that some are challenged for time, and so am I, but I like the satisfaction that I get when that group comes together because of the work that I did. Lightman
