case prep

I wet tumble my cases first with stainless steel media because I have rifles that throw perfectly good brass away and then makes me pick my cases off the ground. (M1, AR15s, SKS, AK47)

This tumbling method assures that the cases are clean and will not scratch my resizing dies. I do not anneal any of my cases and never have in over 46 years of reloading.

I tumble to clean first then full length size with an approx .002" shoulder bump. I've never annealed my brass in over 40 years of reloading; I retire them after 12 to 15 reloads depending on caliber or sooner if warranted by case condition.
