Case neck runout

What is the consensus regarding maximum acceptable case neck runout (a number please) when doing full case sizing?

My particular cases are once fired Hornady cases in 6.5 Creedmore.

The only run out you should have is the thickness of the brass with a bullet in it .

What kind of dies are you using? Are your necks turned? Are you using an expander ball? What type of R/O gauge are you using?............ Are you measuring only the case or a loaded case with bullet? ...... At what point are you measuring? mid-neck, ogive, shoulder etc. ............. Are you measuring total run-out ( TIR ) or from the axis of the case to the outer surface ?

It depends on what you are after in terms of accuracy. Mine end up at one thousandth or less typically.
