Case mouth denting

Quick question, just had a rifle built around a satern barrel.I have about 20 rounds through it.I have noticed that when you extract the case just after it exits the chamber it flings off to the left off the chamber, left handed rifle).after it leaves the chamber it hits the side and puts a dent in the case mouth. Then you keep pulling bolt until it hits the window and it is ejected.is this normal and will a bushing neck die take it out?

Thanks Jon

I have had very weak springs put in my bolts for the ejector. So weak That I must reach in and remove the case. They do not leave the bolt face. It fixed my problems with dents and scratches.

Ejectors suck. If not for denting cases before even releasing, you would notice the brass flying off the bench onto the ground!

1st thing I do is cut or remove ejector springs. If a magazine gets in the way, I get rid of it to. Convert to single shot.
Man, don't mangle or lose your brass. You need it.

Remove the darn spring cause you dont need it........

Unless you're competing in Highpower or Tactical matches. Or maybe hunting with the rifle in question :)

Jon,
gunamonth is absolutely correct about not using the expander button in your neck bushing die. Take it out and replace it with the blank button that Redding supplies with their bushing die. I use a Sinclair #NT-EXP expander body and the correct size expander mandrel to straighten out dented case necks. Also works great to make sure that the case necks on new unfired brass are concentric, and no need to resize the new brass before loading for the first time.
