A 30 BR that someone has turned the base so he can shoot 30BR in a rifle with a 223 bolt face. Not often seen turned to 223 but more common turned to shoot 30BR on a PPC bolt face.
There were a BUNCH of XP100 pistols chambered in 7BR with .473 boltfaces made for handgun silhouette.I would venture to guess that 99% of the Remington XP-100 pistols were originally chambered in .221 Fireball which has the .378 case head like .223, .222, etc. It looks like someone decided to rebarrel the XP from a 221 Fireball to a 7 BR and rebated the rims to work with the small bolt face. Many, many years ago I use a XP-100 in .221 Fireball to build a 7mm TCU which allowed me to use the small bolt face.
