I think it is the top competitors for the 2017 Worlds F-Open competition.
My question is (assuming this is the correct list), what cartridges/ components did these competors use to complete at this level?

I was thinking i read somewhere that the 7 RSAUM paired with Sierra bullets was used by several shooters in the top ten list? Is this true? I cannot find the original article.
Thanks

Mostly 284 Win (plus variants), 7mm SAUM and some downloaded 7/300WSMs. The picture is distorted though by the Connaught Range's restrictive muzzle velocity / energy limits. It meant that in practice loads were limited to those produced by 284 Win.

I should think most used Berger Hybrids. Paul Sandie from my side of the Atlantic in the number two slot shoots the 180 Lapua Scenar L in a SAUM. He is unusual here though, almost all other top UK F shooters use Hybrids. Paul also took the European F-Class championships in September last year at Bisley and set a new GB 1,000 yard match record while doing so with this combination.

Slight correction Laurie, Paul Hill won the Euros with a Saum and the Scenar L, Paul Sandie I believe used a 300 WSM, but I can't say for sure that's what he used in Connaught.

From what I know of the top 10, one was using an RSAUM and two others were using 284's (or variant). Sounds like Paul Sandie was RSAUM as well from what Laurie indicates.

This would indicate the top two shooters were shooting a 7 RSAUM.
Were they both shooting Berger bullets?
