Carrying case for one piece rest...

I had one great rest.
Carried it in my F250 fwd. worked great :D

To be serious find a woodworker make a strong but lightweight box for it.
Or for a while I just placed it on the floor of the trunk or the truck bed and covered it with a towel or a small blanket and carried to the bench or back inside.

Check a chainsaw box . Larry

I'm getting a Pappas one piece rest to use in rimfire benchrest.
My question is: What could I use to carry, or transport it in?

Most of the guys I see at the rimfire matches use the SKB 4009 case with the Pappas one piece rest. You take the top off (quick and simple) and place it next to the rest to use this case. Do a search on the Rimfire Accuracy site and you can see photos of this case and rest.
