Carlsbad's Bolt work... awesome!

Generally no. You see in the photo the bolt face has a newly machined look. I set my tool at the boltface and take a cleanup cut of generally .0004" or so. Note that the difference between go and no go gauges is .004" generally.

I say generally because sometimes a bolt with primer leakage damage can be cleaned up by taking up to .005" off the face. Can't take much because that much is added to the unsupported case extending out of the chamber. This is done generally before a rifle is chambered but can be accommodated by changing die settings also if you are not firing factory ammo.
