Check out the shop guys showing off their latest creation. A Ruger Precision with a newly crafted carbon fiber barrel from https://carbonsixllc.com. It's not yet available to order and build, but this prototype shaved a good bit of weight off. The OEM barrel was 4lbs 4oz and the new carbon barrel weighs in at 2lbs 6oz.

Very cool. Weight is one of my first considerations when shopping for a rig. This lighter barrel should help sales.

That Ruger is ridiculously heavy in my opinion. We've been really happy with the weight savings through our carbon fiber process.
