Can't Find 72"x72" Target Cardboards

I've been looking online and talking to other match directors - I cannot find a source for 72"x72" target cardboards. Can anyone give me a source or point me in the right direction? I would prefer the double layer type but would consider single if that is all I can find. I would also be willing to go in on a group buy with other clubs if anyone was interested. I appreciate any help you can give me.

We buy 4x8 sheets from a supplier in st.Louis for our business. I can find out companies name if you’d like. Are you using these as backers?

You want Dbl wall .267-290 Nominal thickness. If there is a box (container board) making facility in your area check with them. You may be able to get "shear-outs" from their "gator" if not regular sheet stock. We used a lot of dbl-wall as bottom and top sheets for finished loads of boxes. ...C-Flute is between .132-.172 in thickness.

Uline will not be cheap. Find the nearest box manufacturer to you and inquire there. Also any company that sells packaging supplies. Many companies use sheets of cardboard and corrugated board for shipping products. If you can get the shipping cost out of it and pick it up yourself, you will save a considerable amount of money.

The largest metro area around here is Denver and I can't find anyone that makes sheets that wide. Thank you.

Thanks for the information - I know nothing about cardboard - just that I need some.

We staple and then screw them to wooden frames and then paste a Long Range F-Class target onto them. I would appreciate the company name if you can provide it. Thanks.

I believe International Paper and possibly Rock River both have plants in the Denver area. What I would do is walk-in, Talk to a Rep and see what they could do. A sheet run that size is gravy run off the "gater" it'd take less than a minute to run a 1000 sheets (Maybe 3-4 pallets) that size and straight out the door, no other machines involved (besides the strapper).
PS.....I believe International Paper is in Golden Colorado.
Depending on what you have for equipment (straight truck, forklift, pallet jack etc) you'd save some cash on shipping if you could pick it up yourself and a FYI you'll save about $25 per unit if you can omit that part and go with no pallets.

Chris, I thought you were going to get some from us, but I never heard anything. The outfit I got our last batch from is Container Corporation of America. Their plant is at I225 and I70 more or less. 500 sheet min if I remember right. I got the single wall. Not sure for F-class that you gain much life by going to double wall. Seems like it was more than twice the price and I doubt it doubles the life.
