Canadian Whitetail TV Show

timeout

Silver $$ Contributor
I have Dish TV and the only hunting/fishing channel I get is Pursuit. Regarding Pursuit Channel's hunting show lineup, the only one I really liked was Dean Partridge's Canadian Whitetail. Since the first of the new year I cannot find it listed in the guide. I visited the Pursuit Channel website and searched for the Canadian Whitetail on air times. I have checked my Dish guide and Canadian Whitetail is not listed for those times, or any others that I have found. Am I just not finding the show, or has it moved on to a better venue? Thanks for your help!

Looks like he just started up a YouTube channel.
I saw that but haven't taken time to go on it yet. I can't understand how the Pursuit Channel can list his show air time schedule but it doesn't show up on my Dish Network guide. I've always felt that the show was too high quality to be on the Pursuit Channel. In comparison to the Outdoor and Sportsman Channels, the Pursuit Channel is a real third rate loser. My Dish Contract ends soon. Not certain what we will do for sure when the time comes.

More than likely they didn't renew his contract. I'm in agreement that it was a great show. Nice to see the huge bucks that aren't being served up by a paid outfitter.

I have Dish and get all 3 channels.

Shows are taped typically a year before they air. Jason Peterson was killed in a plane crash on July 30th I believe. Jason and Dean were partners in business and friends in life. Possibly Dean decided to hold production since his death and the shows that aired from July 30th till January were filmed last year thru July. He has no more new footage since Jason's death. That's just a possibility. They produced many shows together on Jason Petersons" Into the Wild" and Canadian whitetail TV. Just a thought.
