Canadian F-Class Nationals 2015/2016

On behalf of DCRA (Dominion of Canada Rifle Association), i invite all F-Class shooter to initiate yourself with connaught range in Ottawa, the range where 2017 FCWC will be shot. We have two big competition, one is the Eastern Regional held in July and the other is the Canadian Championship held in Mid August.

I know Ray Gross and Rick Jensen will be bringing a team up, but if some of you, would be willing to come, let me know or these gentlemen so we can plan logistic and help you out.

Might add to your list myself, Danny Biggs and Jim Murphy. Jim just twisted my arm a few days ago, so we plan to be there in August from The South.

Shipping ammo into Canada from the US is a bit difficult. We looked into it last year and then ended up flying into NY and driving across. Much easier in my opinion. The range is only about 3 hrs north of Syracuse.

As this event will commence this coming Thursday (13th) I thought I would bring this post "back to top".
Some may already be on the road driving and others packing up to leave. Travel well and
am looking forward to seeing everyone on the "green."
Maybe someone with a camera and a computer can keep this post updated with event info.....

Got a chance to shoot a little practice today. The only thing I can say is tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun. I had 3 min on the gun holding another 2 to 3 min. Good stuff

The competition was extremely fierce as there were two World Champions, three US National Champions, at least two Canadian National Champions and some European Champions shooting right alongside me. Danny Boy and Murphy are always tough to beat!

It was an honor shooting alongside the best shooters in the world.
