Can you get Vudoo action only ?

I’ve never seen just the action offered by anyone else. Not sure what you are aiming for, but I have a single shot barreled action on order with them with an estimated turn around of 5-6 weeks. I normally use a reputable rimfire gunsmith, but Vudoo had the barrel I wanted in stock, they seem to know how to slug and chamber a barrel, (not mass produced) so I’m giving them a try. In my case, I’m getting the same barreled action to my specs in 6 weeks that would take a year going my normal route. YMMV. Good luck in your quest!

I suspect nobody stocks them and with their generally reasonable lead time, the factory direct offering meets nearly any demand.

On that note, are there any smiths who will chamber a barrel to a Vudoo action?

I have a Vudoo barreled action but I want an extra barrel chambered using my reamer instead of theirs. I’ve talked to a few and they declined because they haven’t worked on Vudoos before. Vudoo will not use a customers reamer.

Apologies to OP for the hijack. I ordered A VSS with Shilen Ratchet, no stock, no trigger. It arrrived at my FFL 15 days later. I’ve never experienced that kind of turnaround in all of my made-to-order experience. Super happy!

Area 419, altus, euro optic, brownells and a bunch of gun builders stock vudoo barreled actions ready to go. Not that hard to find one when you need it.

JimSC, I have a local sample of 2 V22s. After about 500 rounds mine met Vudoo's 1/2 MOA guarantee shooting Midas+, but I have several rifles that shot far better. On top of that, the extensive machining marks left on the bolt and receiver, and Vudoo's attitude about it ticked me off every time I picked it up, so I sold it on. My friend stuck with his, and after working it up all fall and winter it is shooting as well as his Anschutz BR-50. But the ONLY ammo it shoots that well is Lapua X-Act!

Another data point: in the last two PSL events in Dec 22 and Mar 23 only 3 shooters campaigned Vudoos and none finished higher than 15th

Mine has the Ratchet RO contour. Bedded it in a Kestros stock, TT Diamond, SIII 8-32x56, Harrell’s tuner. Only shot one lot of Eley match, but the limited sample I’ve shot is in the .2’s pretty comfortably and consistently when the conditions are good. Still needs more testing, but it seems to shoot so far if you do your part.
