Can I use 6mm Creedmoore brass to make 6XC?

I inherited 500 pieces of brand new Alpha 6mm Creedmoore brass from a buddy’s estate after he was killed in a plane crash. I have tried selling the 6mm Creedmoore brass locally at matches but no one seems interested. I do shoot a 6XC and could use some more brass. Are there any issues I will run into using this brass to make 6XC?

I bet those would be gone in a week on Gunbroker. 6xc from Tubb is $69 a 100.

I made 50 6xc out of some Hornady 6 creed. I haven't gotten around to shooting them. The necks were a bit long, not so long that they wouldn't chamber even without trimming. Trim them and shoot them. They should work just fine.

I haven't shot them yet but not at first. I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up after a firing or two. Besides, the neck on the xc is long enough to avoid the donut in most cases.
308 cases as a base will give donuts.

Shoot me a price for the brass if you still have it

Run it through a sizing die, trim to length (this part is necessary), turn necks if you want, done. Been there, done that. Worked fine.

Ok thanks all. I have a second 6xc barrel that is going on my prs type rifle when the 260 barrel is done. If I can convert this brass and use it it will be good to keep the brass separate as the headstamp will be different. Plus, I can use the plastic boxes the Alpha brass came in.
