Can I neck size with a full LSD?

With neck sizing only your case body forms to the chambers OD not always the length of the chamber . With F/L sizing to the minimum length your OD may squeeze down slightly but your CBTD can be adjusted from zero on up to whatever case space you want . Setting your CBTO is more accurate , I guess it comes down to wiggle room top to bottom or side to side . What ever works best for you .

Test- Clean Fl die with Isopropyl Alcohol . Do not lube case. Run fired brass into die to just size the mouth of the case a tiny bit.

Stuck case?

When firing the brass a second time tonight I noticed the bolt was heavy to close. My shoulders are only .002” forward...the neck measured where it should be..I guess this is because the custom chamber combined with Lapua Brass is tight? One more firing in am and then off to Harrell’s for the die....p.s. thanks for the LSD jokes...must have been a Freudian slip:)

In this modern day and age of enlightenment only Saddam Hussein's cat prefers neck sizing. :)

When sizing your brass I would test in your chamber until it chambers with the slightest resistance . Then with that case seat a bullet and check in your chamber again .CBTD or CBTO one of them are too close . Shouldn't close with resistance no matter what chamber you have .
