Can anyone identify this upper AR-15 upper

I bought this from a member on here saying it was a machined billet Sun Devil upper receiver. Ive had it looked at by quite a few people that have laughed at me saying no way. I am a active duty Marine that lives in the barracks so finding someone that knows AR's isnt difficult. Im giving the member the benefit of the doubt so far Im just trying to get as much information together as I can. Thank you for any reply.

It's a DPMS low pro extruded upper. They work fine but a little on the crude side. I have had several before the billets became more common.
If someone told you it was a Sun Devil, they were either grossly mistaken or flat out lied.

Daggum it. Until I hear from him Im not gonna say anything. The entire rifle sold except the stripped upper which I ended up with I gave him a stainless fluted 223 savage takeoff barrel with a very low round count and 50 bucks for the "sun devil" stripped upper plus it cost me 20 bucks to ship the darn thing and I even threw in a 223 AI stoney point gauge thing for free cause I was impressed with his politeness and I will never use it. Darn it.

I'll bet you're glad you got that off your chest huh? Why don't you just remind the guy of the some other mistakes, perhaps his prom date, or the time he voted for Carter...
