Can a bushed firing pin be a problem

Had a 6 dasher built last year, which included bushing the firing pin, to shoot Fclass with.
Been thinking of rechambering it to a .243, to build a tactical/practical rifle, since I already have bullets, brass, and dies from the past.

Would the smaller bushed firing pin have any negative effects on the large primers?
Thanks

The only issue that you will have w/ the .062" pin tip is that it will break compared to the .075" lasting you your lifetime.

Very little chance of you breaking the pin, especially since there is no slop between the pin and body and you won't be getting any additional pressure.

Barnard's ALL come with a small pin that's tightly fit. I have never seen, nore heard of one breaking in this manner.

90% of my rifles have bushed pins, never had one break a pin..
The smaller pin will not be a problem with the large primers...

I had a large pin in a Remington that was piercing primers and off it went to gre-tan and no more piercing and works perfectly.
