Camera Phones on Scopes

Just saw an ad for an adapter to install your smart phone on the eye piece of your scope. Wonder how long it will take for that to be a trend?

Just think, you can video your shots during a match and see where the cross hairs were when the shot broke, maybe see the bullet trace, and the score come up on the target! What will they think of next?

I have seen these for a while for my Kowa spotting scope and have fought the urge to buy one. Would be nice to have.

Its a very nice piece of kit, I tried it on a scope but it just felt wrong looking through a phone through my scope. March sells a very nice one (little pricey but very nice). On a spotting scopes it works very nice to record LR hunts or shooting steel or ladders or what have you.
A guy I know has a "eye piece" that you attach on the the back eye piece of your scope with a small camera on the side of it, works very nice for recording your hunts through your scope without having a phone in front of you.

I want a camera that fits over the eye piece then plugs into the phone or tablet off to the side.. I'm sure this would be an advantage @ the bench.. Zero wondering eye or parallax with a snug fitting camera over the eye piece.. You could sit to the side and just worry about stuffing bullets down it.

From what I have seen with my phoneskope setup, you better use it under a shade and not in direct sunlight for visability. It's just one thing more to take, with charger, with adapters etc.

I have a phone scope on my swaro spotter and if you do the scoreing for 5 out of 6 relays it makes your day much nicer. I have also recorded 2 bald eagles at 480 yard sitting in a tree and you swear that you were looking at them in a zoo. The details were that crisp and clear. It was awesome. They were watching some groundhogs we had killed.

They have been used on 22's for years. I've seen The single piece rest br guys just look at the phone to get poa and shoot.
When they stream psl/ara that's what they use on a spotter.
I don't know how well they would take the recoil of a centerfire.
