Cameo Colorado 1000 yard F-Class Match Near Grand Junction Colorado

[Mulligan]

A few months ago, Jerry Bush started hosting 1000 yard F-Class matches at the Cameo Shooting Sports Complex just outside of Palisade, Colorado. Grand Junction, Colorado is the nearest metro area-about 15 miles away.

Attached are the results from the match yesterday.

is ready to get this information out to a bigger audience now that they have the bugs mostly worked out.

The next match is scheduled for Oct 8th, and the final match of the year will be Nov 5th, 2022.
Each match is NRA approved 3X20 at 1000 yards. You need to register on Practiscore if you plan on attending.

I have a lot of miles on my boots from near the Powderhorn Ski lodge, Long slough area east to Vega and the Flat tops and south past Crags Crest.

Thanks Mr. Mulligan,

I have seen the TV shows etc about this complex and would really like to visit, & shoot a match.

Hopefully, after young son returns from the sand box, we can make it happen, working in a match would be a bonus.

When it looks like I will be up that way (2023) I will check things out

I visited with the Match Director, Jerry Bush a couple of days ago, he said folks could email him with any questions. Jerryobush@gmail.com

The range is challenging, Jerry said only one clean (200) has been shot at that range.
I will be going out for a sight visit soon to size it up for 1000 yard BR venue.

I can see the Demon swirls, let offs, changes, just sitting there waiting......waiting.... for a projectile to approach !

That is an awesome place. I shot the inaugural Hornady steel hunter match there. Worth the trip to see the place. Too bad other states can't or won't build something similar.
