Calm winds and cut fields...

Long rough day at work yesterday so I made it out last night for R&R. The fields I setup looking over have been grazed but not cut for several years. The chucks haven't figured out yet that they are easily seen. A total of 8 for the 5X45AI and 39 gr. Blitzkings from 205 to 435 yards. Only 2 1\2 MOA come-up was required to get from a 200 yard zero to 435 yards. I had one miss by not dialing up thinking I didn't need to worry about 1/2 MOA at 260 yards. It stopped before going to ground and I dialed up and got it, old fart moment? Sorry no pictures as it requires a drive and hike due to the terrain and part of my R&R was nursing a sore knee. The farm manager was very happy and said he hopes they don't wise up, me too.

425 yards - Wow - that's impressive! Nice shooting. I was out Friday - field just cut - first cut of the season - weather was perfect - I wasn't:( (See Latest Report Ground Hog Lottery)

Ground Addict - Can't get enough of it.;)
