caldwell rock BR rest

I saw the topic caldwell rest br and I have one but all I need is the top plate to use another type bag for my sporter rifle. I dont need the whole top if you take one screw out of the top plate you can change the bag and your ready to go.I have sent caldwell three e-mail's and got no answer to my question on how much the plate would cost. The whole top is 127.00 dollars no way that plate could be any where close to that.

Hello Dwight,
I also contacted Caldwell for the same reason. The response I got was that I had to buy the whole thing, about 129.00. I think it is stupid, but that is big business. All I need is a little side plate that supports the bag on one side, probably a 2.00 item.
