Caldwell BR replacement feet?

On benchrestcentral classifieds there was an add for Super Feet, any local Machine Shop should be able to make you a set from 2 1/2"-3" round stock, 3/16"-1/4" thick, with a tapped hole for the factory pointed bolt to fit through.

Midway and others sell the wide rubber feet that go under the pointed feet that are on your rest.

I think these are good for the price:

Like I mentioned above..............

For F-class I use these:

along with a set of these:
http://www.sinclairintl.com/.aspx/sid=67401/pid=34710/Product/SINCLAIR_F_CLASS_EXTENDED_REST_LEG_SCR
(though I only use 2 extended leg screws in the front and leave the back one as-is)

In retrospect, the feet were kind of expensive, some people just use the extended leg screws (or make them themselves) along with some big washers.

In my experience, the superfeet work great on the bench with the factory pointed screws but not so good on uneven ground.

So are those the correct thread for the Caldwell? Those look great.

Yeah, works great. I alternate between the extended screws/fee and the factory screws/superfeet depending on whether I shoot off the ground or a bench, respectively.

Only center post of the Caldwell is different from other rests (and in fact differs between the same Caldwell rest depending on vintage; they recently changed it according to Butch Lambert).

Go to the hardware store and get 3 Fender Washers and 6 nuts.
You can adjust how much penetration you want depending on soil conditions.
I have mine set at just under 2", which is NRA legal for F-Class.
Once you get the feet set and leveled it stays put.
