Distance: 50 meters
Ammunition: the cheapest I could find
There are some sighting errors, because the "dot" was hard to see after a few shots :D

Very cool. Nice pix.

Where are you located?

What is the centerfire chambering and what model of 202 is that.

Looks like a wide front with flat bottom of the fore-arm.

Does the 22LR system use a different barrel?

How is the 22LR barrel attached?

What did the system cost?

Thanks for posting! :thumb:

Nice scope! We don't seem many Zeiss Victories in the USA.

Tooms, beautiful rifle and a very well done conversion - obviously very accurate. But, best of all, it's left-handed!!!

Looks like a Sauer 202 Varmint, the barrels are quick change system. You are lucky Tooms, having a left handed one, and with the 22lr conversion, oh my! Denmark must be nice!

p.s.
I like the AEG washer and dryer;)

I'm located in Denmark

The rifle is born as a Sauer 202 Advantgarde Gold cal. 308

I have added:

a cal. 6.5x55 match barrel

a vide flatbottom match forarm with rail for handstop and the Harris

The cal. 22 system comes with a barrel, a bolt, a magasinwell and a magasin

The barrel is attached by three screws and the magasinwell is attached by one screw into the barrel.

The cal. 22 lr system alone is a 1000 $ alone, the scope is 3000 $ so Denmark is an expensive country :-,

I have the narrow and more beautifull forarm, it matches the wood of the buttstock much better. The shorter and thinner .308 barrel only goes on, when I go hunting in terrain, that requires a lot of walking..

Today I fired it at 100 meters. It was done a bit to fast, and I think I can see the cheap ammunition creating some flyers, that I wont take credit for. But as you can see my setup could be more steady. And offcourse I've made some mistakes. I will try again one day with more time AND try to bench it.

Thank you all for the nice words :D

Tooms,

Thanks for the extra pix.

I think this rifle would be a good candidate for a Gun of the Week. you have three calibers .308, 6.5x55, and 22LR and various stock configurations to talk about . Very handsome wood on that buttstock!

Yesterday I tested the rifle with some Lapua Master L ammunition. It was a day with HEAVY vinds, but it came towards me. The distance is 50 meters and the coin is 0,7 inches. The first two pictures are 5 shot groups at 50 meters, and the last is a 15 shot group at 50 meters. On tuesday in calm weather, I'll test it at 100 meters.

First of all, sorry for not visiting this site for a while now.

Well I don't know anything about how to find this system in the US. It is a kit designed for a specific Sauer competition rifle designed for the Danish shooting confederation. This meaning a rifle that a danish kid can by at a discount. It can then only be used in competition and not hunting. It is a training kit for indoor 15 m and outdoor 50 m shooting. Try to contacte Sauer Germany would be my guess.

Tooms,

Thanks for taking the time to post all this info on the Sauer 202 22LR conversion kit.

I have contacted Lee LeBas at Blaser USA to inquire about obtaining one here in the US. Blaser USA is now the Sauer rifle/shotgun distributor in the US.

Lee said that he would talk to Sauer about it this year. If and when I get any additional information, I will post it here in this thread and the thread below.
