Cabelas Sale, Savage 12FV $375 plus $75 Rebate

Cabelas is having a black friday sale thru Monday Dec 1 on the Savage 12FV in several calibers. The online ads list a $75 mail in rebate. Reading the text of the rebate it does not list the 12FV model as qualifying for the rebate, but in years past and because the 12FV is not listed on Savage's website, it's a special model for Cabelas/BassPro is was always covered.

Additionally, there are Cabelas gift cards advertising 10% discount, but not available as an Ecard so can't be used for online sales. However, ecards can be found on other websites.

Raise.com has discounted gift cards. I used them and they worked on a FV purchase. Just be aware (I wasn't) that there is a limit on the number of gift cards you can use. Better to take a slightly smaller discount on a higher dollar amount card.

I don't remember exactly, but I "think" it was 6. I was trying to get the maximum discount so I purchased a bunch of $25 cards. Now I have a bunch left over, but I'm going to the store today and I think (hope) that I can use as many as I want in person.

You can usually buy gift cards with gift cards. So consolidating cards before the large purchase may be possible.

They burned me on a similar rebate early this year. Still, $375 is a great price for the 12 FV.

I think it is through Dec 1 but that is today not Monday.

OK...so..I am climbing around Savages interwebpage...The only model 12 anything i see are the Bench, the"F" class, the Palma, the left port...etc.....ALL over $1,100.00. Some over $2,000.00!!! Where is a description if the "12 FV"?

The 12FV is a Cabelas exclusive. The specs should be on their website.
