Wallyworld in Elkton, MD had .22 an hour or so ago, 225 rd. box of Remington LRs. 11 bucks & change, three box limit. Snagged three, there was a half a dozen or so still left. I've been looking for subsonic but that ammo is in MAJOR GOUGE MODE on the web.

Got some of that subsonic recently. thought I would use it in the backyard.

Phooey. It was about as loud as regular 22lr standard velocity and impacted 6" lower at 100 yards. Put it this way, it's NOT quiet.

The quiet subsonics are the CB caps or shorts that are around 700-800 fps. The long rifles aren't slow enough to do away with the report. BTDT. Hog
