Cabelas ,Hamburg Pa....some Powder

Cabelas Hamburg Pa : They had some 1 lb jugs of varget, H4831, a few 8lb of 4350 and 3031 powder and a few 1lb selections of norma powder. The sticker price on the 8 lb was $199

I think the Hamburg store is the best in the line. I live in Utah but come to Kutztown a couple of times a year to visit my son and his family and I seem to end up in your Cabelas every couple of days. Great part of this great nation. Don

Was in Rapid City, SD yesterday(Fri). Picked up an 8 pounder of IMR4350 for my local FFL @ Black Hills Shooters Supply along with 10K LP Win primers. Didn't ask him how long if any they had been on BO.

Scheels All Sports had a list of what they had available. IIRC Retumbo,, TAC, IMR4895, IMR4350, IMR4064, 8208, 4320, 3031, H4831SC, H1000, IMR4227, and I think a couple more. NO 22 AMMMO. I didn't see any posted prices and didn't ask.

Cabela's had just H1000, H414, IMR4350, IMR4320, IMR3031, IMR4227, IMR8208, IMR4064 and maybe one or two others. Most had 10 1 pounders so either they just put them out or they aren't moving real fast. Heard one gent ask if they had H4350 and specifically 8 pounders. Clerk told him he thought there were a few 1 pounders left and MAYBE an 8! Didn't hang around to see what he brought out of the back. All of the IMR powders were $28.99. Most all primer sizes in Win, Remington and CCI. Think the only Federal Gold Medal were Small Pistol?? For brass some 45ACP, 9 mil, and 40SW along with all the 270 and 06 brass you would want, nothing else much for brass. NO 22 AMMO.

Neither had any pistol powder other than IMR4227 and no shotgun powders but both had a good selection of the popular Hornady boolets, nothing like 75 or 105 Amax along with more Sierra than I have seen. Almost nothing in Speer at either place. I have more than I care to admit of everything including some from 20yrs back so I am an 'antique' hoarder. Looked out of curiosity and not necessity. So overall the best I have seen for components in 18 months.
