Buying bullets for benchrest ?

Ok how do you benchrest guys go about buying your bullets? Do you just purchase 1000 or 2 of say 105's and hope its a lot that your barrel likes or do you try 100 out first and then buy a huge quantity from same supplier hoping to get same lot?

On the first order, buy the minimum amount, 100 -300. If you like them & they shoot well for you, buy as many as you can afford and request the same lot, if available.

When i shot 1000 yard br.I would buy 1000 at a time.Same lot#.Sort them by weight,and ogive length.Used the good ones for match.And the odd balls for hunting.Did the same thing with brass and primers tonly weight and thickness with the brass and primers
