Butterknife bolt handle parts source?

I've been fiddling with this Marlin 22mag for awhile now.
I think that it needs a butterknife bolt handle for appearance sake. I am having a devil of a time finding one. Lot of discontinued listings but no dice. Does anyone know where they still sell them? Or a reasonable alternative? Thanks Shawn
Also could there be any unseen issues with welding one on(not me somebody that knows what the hell their doing) since the root is the bolt lug on a Marlin RF. This could stop the idea cold. Thanks for any help

Brownell's used to carry them. Don't know if they still do. If you can't find one I probably have an old Brownell's catalog with the part number. You could see if they might still have one.

The stock looks good. A butter knife would look great on it. But, yea, heat in the wrong place on that one. Might need to custom make a handle, cut the knob off and drill the handle and solder it on.

Make them ! Old plier handle, flat stock etc . Be careful welding to the bolts recoil ( locking )lug , you don't want to lose its hardness ,

i really fear what it would look like if i made it? But i do have several old broken wrench handles and such guess I will have to give it a go

Call Steyr and ask them if they will sell a bolt handle. Ruger might have the flat NOS bolt handles collecting dust.

Dan please teach me how to Tig weld silver to 4140, or at least tell me where to find out how in the welding manuals. Haha Still looking for that unobtanium you sent me for.

Check on Ebay. I've got a 98 Mauser and I needed to have the bolt handle turned down; the guy was inexpensive and did great work. Just type in "bolt handle" and go from there.

Then you have a short handle mechanically.
