Bushnell XRS3 or Meopta Optika6 5-30

Like title says. Which one would you choose and why, looking for a new scope and just looking for some real world input on these two scopes. Thanks Michael

Because of the pricing, it's a hard one. The Meopta is half the price
and not giving up a lot. I favor the Bushnells because I own and shoot
them, and mainly the Elite series XRS. i have one of the originals when
they first hit the street, and still gets used the most on a hunting rifle.
Dependable, great glass.......Meopta scopes are Czech made including
glass. Never heard a bad thing about them.

What primary use will these scopes be used for ??

It will be used for long range prone matches at steel targets, I get the LE discount from Bushnell so price is comparable. Thanks for your input and do you have experience with the new XRS3 6-36.

With your discount I’d go with the Bushnell. I like the MeOptas, one of the better values imo. I do wish they made an easier zero stop though, that’s why I quit using them but they are great scopes.

I ran it but at the end of the season I traded it off for another NF 15-55 Comp.
It had the G4P reticle. I liked it, just had to let something go. Got a lot more
money for it then one of my older Elites. I do love those older 4.5-30's

As an after thought, and I do have and use one, look at the Burris 8-40.
It's heavy but i would rank it with the Meopta. It's around the same price
range and giving you a bit more power.

I just recently bought meopta 4.5-27. Nice quality, nice glass. What I do not like is small eye box and small ocular.

I have an Optika6 . I like it.

I've 2 Meoptas , an Optika6 4.5-27 and a 6-24×56 ZD . The glass is fantastic at the price points . They are both a little eye box fussy and the Optika6 suffers a little CA . Both are bright and clear and both dial accurately . I must add both are SFP , but I wouldn't hesitate in buying another in either FFP or SFP.
