Bushnell ERS 6-24x 50mm vs Vortex HS-T 6-24 50mm

Not sure which to get...Goin on my .308 and I shoot this rig out to 1400.....Cant find reticle subtension on the Bushnell.. And not sure about enough elevation travel on the bushnell... midway says 70 min up so roughly 22 mil........bushnell website says says 24 mils total....meaning elevation and windage??????..concerned the crosshairs may be a little thick......Then I read the Vortex gets fuzzy above 20x........Any opinions.... HELP!!

I cannot help with the Vortex. But which reticle are you looking at on the Bushnell, and FFP or SFP?

I have a Bushnell 6-24x50 in FFP with the G2DMR reticle. It's very nice for the money, turrets are very repeatable and track true. The G2 reticle is also a MIL reticle not hard to figure out the subtensions on it.

Its a sfp.....My concern is over the subtension of the intersection of the center crosshairs....the Mils I don't really use at all

I can't help on the hst, but I have a PST and many bushnell products I can tell you without a doubt that the glass in the PST's or maybe just the 2 I've gotten isn't even close to Bushnells 4200 elite series, "to my eyes and about 4 buddies. Another thing about the 2 vortex optics I've dealt with is eye box..... They suck horribly bad. We do a lot of night time coyote hunting and I'd take a bushnell over a vortex any day of the week and twice on sunday. Now I know this is just my opinion I'm not trying to offend anyone maybe their experience with vortex has been better but I'm just not nor never will be impressed with them, which is sad bc their lit reticles are amazing and they track well with all the bells and whistles at a marketable price point. My latest bushnell is the ers mildot FFP and the glass to me is extremely nice for the money. Only issue I have with it is the lit reticle is too bright but bushnell is currently working dilegently on a fix for me.
I've never had to use Bushnells customer service but let me tell you it's stellar so far. Best of luck with your choice if you can put them both to your eye for a side by side do it everyone sees things differently

+1....my many bushnells run circles arond my vortex in every respect.
Vortex is usable but the bushnells are allot nicer.
