Bushings??

Will a Redding bushing fit a Forster die fit a Whidden die fit a Redding die, etc.? That is, are the neck bushings from these three companies interchangeable? Thanks.

Nope ! About the only interchangeable bushings that I know of are Willson and Redding .

Whidden dies use Redding or Wilson bushings.

So, if the Forster bushing I need/want is on back-order at the factory I'm stuck with the 6-week wait? Bummer.

AR, what size you need? I've got 257 thru 262 I can loan you until yours comes in, if any of those sizes can help ya?

Thanks for the offer, but need 0.288". Too much tension with the 0.287" and not enough with the 0.289". I've got one on back-order with Forster, but they are telling me it will be 6-weeks, or more while the Redding is in stock.

Ask forster if they will hone a thou out of the bore of your old bushing.

To go up just 1 thou in diameter, you could just try gently honing the bushing yourself? Regards JCS
