bushing size for .272 neck 6mm br

I've got a .272 neck pac-nor barrel on order. They want a couple of dummy rounds for the chamber and freebore. I've got a redding comp. seater and a redding type s full lenght bushing die on oreder too. What size bushing,s) do I want? Thanks tootalloutdoors
Also, where can I buy fowler bullets?

If your loaded necks will measure .272, and if you want .002 of neck tension, then you want the necks to measure .270 before bullet seating. A .269 bushing otta leave you with that after springback.

OK...

loaded rounds will average ~0.2695 with a Lapua scenar, closer to 0.270 with sierra or CR

I use a .268 TiNit bushing that gives me 0.2678 coming out of the die.

seems to work...

You can get bullets directly from the source. Benchrest.com has a link to his site. I dont know of anyone who carries them but it could be someone will chime in. As far as bushings, I usually find my best loads at .003 below loaded neck dimension.

Fowlers - I got some from Brunos once or twice but I'm not sure if he carries them anymore.

I've since ordered them directly from Jef himself. He didn't answer email that I sent him but does pick-up the phone. I found him to be very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Very quick with his shipping too. His number is on the vendor list on Benchrest.com

I like the way his bullets shoot and will be a regular customer.

.272" nk here,SSS/Douglass). Fired cases measure a touch over .271", loaded rounds measure .270". Using a Wilson .268" bushing in Redding Type 'S' F/L sizing die, no problems.

HTH,

Great. Thank folks for the responces. I'm going with the redding competition seater and the redding type S bushing F/L die. For the bushings I ordered three different sizes, .267-.268-.269. Thanks again tootalloutdoors
