Bushing die question

I am looking to buy a Redding 260 AI neck sizing bushing die.....Is a 260 REM reg bushing die interchangeable with the 260 AI neck bushing die? The reg 260 die costs about $20.00 less, and i can't see what the difference would be? Thanks, rsbhunter

When you fireform your AI brass, it gets larger at the body/shoulder junction and the standard 260 die may not go down far enough on the fireformed case. Higher priced dies is just one of the joys of shooting an improved case.

once you AI something the ctgs can not be pushed in a NON AI die....you wuld just be trying to reform the shoulder and body taper back to the std dims. that you just fireformed away from...!!!!!!...Roger
