Burris XTR 3

I have a 3.3-18 xtr3 with the scr2 mil reticle, I like the scope, replaced a NF nx8 4-32x50 with it. Much easier to get behind the Burris, lot more forgiving eyebox and parallax. Clicks are good and solid.

How’s the glass? I have an XTR2. It’s a solid scope the only negative is, IMO, the glass is sub par. It’s not great in low light or high humidity.

A member on LRH had one and has said the glass is much improved over the XTRII and he really likes the scope, performs very well in all categories.

The Glasses are underrated, I couldn't say they are Vortex but they are comparable. i really enjoy using it and it zeros are it should. No regrets.

I have an XTR-II 4-20x50 and the new XTR-III in 3-18x50. Glass has not been improved. They are good scopes but the glass is not what I would expect for $1500. I have a Bushnell Forge 3-18x50mm that is better than both of the Burris's scopes and they are 1/2 of the price. I never tried a Vortex so I can't compare. My Nightforce ATACR scopes are super nice and clear but they are almost twice the price.
