burris signature rings w/inserts/how to shim?

What I want to do is shim it with .010's or.005's. I cant remember if to shim the back with .010's you use +.010 on the bottom and -.010 on the top. Can anyone steer me in the right direction please.

When you want to raise you put the + on the bottom. Opposite to lower. If you wanted 15 in your example you would put:
in the back --- +10 on the bottom -10 on top
in the front --- -5 on the bottom +5 on the top
