Burris 3-12 pistol scope

Hi I have a 22 mag bolt pistol I want to scope. Was wondering if any of you had any experience with the Burris 3-12 pistol scope?

The Burris 3x12 is by far the best pistol scope on the market..
It has never failed on my 375 JDJ Contender after a lot of years of hard use....

I have 2, one on a 6mmBr and another on a 7mmBr. They are really nice scopes and clear. The only downside I see is that you can't have your arms outstretched. I'm long armed so I have to pull the pistol closer to me to get a full field of view. Other than that I like them a lot. I have a Burris 3x9 as well and like the 3x12 better.

Get the Leupold VX3 2.5 to 8 and you will never look though a Burris scope again!

I too like the burris pistol scopes.I recently bought one through a group buy and the packaging changed redically.They used to be in a hardboard box.This one was in a flimsy box like chinese made. I opened it only to find out it is no longer made in the USA and is now made in the philipines with the USA price.It is clear and sorta looks the same but a grand disappointment that burris has done what everyone else has.They have cut manufacturing costs and raised the price.The scope is fine but it makes me really mad that they dont tell you that they are now imports.

There is a leupold vx3 2.5-8 I can get for 300 but I was thinking the extra power would be nice.

I ruined a 2.5x8 Junk Leupold the first shot out of my 275 JDJ...
Never ever will I own another one of those POS scopes.......
Even my old 1 1/2 x 4 and 2 1/2 x 7 Burris pistol scopes are still working very well...

I used to shoot pistol silhouette and almost everyone used the Burris 3-12 because it was indestructible and had the best magnification. In all fairness the Leupold did have better and more repeatable adjustments, but they did not survive for very long on even low powered loads. The joke was that when you bought a Leupold you had to buy 2, that way you had one to use when the other was sent back to be fixed. But with the Burris you never had to worry about it.
