I have a Bullseye Long Range Ammocam that I have had since 2016. I have been using the Android Bullseye Target Manager Software that has been available from the Google Playstore. I just upgraded my Android tablet and tried to
load the application from Playstore only to find that it was not available. The SME Spot Shot is still available but that application does not support the Bullseye Ammocam.
The Bullseye product line has been absorbed by the SME product group which has a bunch of products under that umbrella. When I first purchased the target camera, I was able to reach customer service with the manufacturer who could speak intelligently about the product. Now, you get some young lady at SME who has no clue about the product and doesn't really know anything about the software applications. After 15 minutes on the phone asking her pointed questions about the applications and going around in circles, I gave up.
I tried searching the net for some source or a phone number that would get me to the SW developer with no success. After a week, I tried SME customer service again hoping to get some intelligence on the other end of the phone. Don't you know that I get the same young lady again. This time, she knows that there have been a number of calls about the problem and has learned that the developer is working on an update to the Bullseye Target Manager SW and took it off of Playstore until the update is ready. That is predicted to be a "couple weeks".
In the mean time, I still have the old application loaded on two other Android devices.
