FORUM Boss: We have removed the interactive map from the Daily Bulletin article.

This can't be right. NC carry license excepted by every state? I live in NY and my local shops say that NY excepts no other stats permit.

Connecticut does NOT honor any other permits - we have even arrested police officers from NY when they crossed our state line

You are correct it's wrong, NY State does not honor any other State permits.

NY State permits are not all truly "carry" permits, most Counties only issue For hunting, trapping and target shooting.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I have deleted the live interactive map that went in the original Bulletin story. Apparently it is flawed. I replaced the "live" map with a link to an interactive map on USACarry.com. That second map is more complicated to use, but hopefully it provides more reliable results.

The first map was from GunLawsByState.com . There do seem to be some issues in that version. It's too bad it has the North Carolina error, as it was specifically designed to be embedded in Blogs.

That is to bad. Web linking blogs is tuff. I had to do it in school. Hated it. You do a great job Forum Boss much better then I ever could.
